Arizona Capitol Tour
Members & Friends,The following event has been scheduled for (9/11) September 11th, 2019 and is ready to sign up. The event will be a Capitol Tour with Arizona House Representative Frank Carroll as the host. There are no restrictions on who may attend so invite your friends and neighbors. These are some of the things available to us during this excursion. Please be aware that some individuals are subject to change based on schedules at the time of the tour.
  1. All attendees must be at SCG Chaparral Center parking lot by 9:15am. There is parking available on both sides of the main building. We're allowing 15 minutes to load bus and will leave promptly at 9:30am. 
  2. Bus to Capitol, arrive by 10:30am
  3. Free time to enjoy the Capitol grounds
  4. Normal tour to the public Old Capitol & Museum at 11:00am
  5. Catered Sandwiches in meeting room(bring your own bag lunch if you wish) at 12:00
  6. Visits by Supreme Court Justice Clint Bolick, State Treasurer Kimberly Yee, State Representatives Frank Carroll and Ben Toma, and the most recently appointed member of the Arizona Corporation Commission, Leah Marquez Peterson
  7. Mock Bill Process
  8. Special tour of House Chamber and behind the scenes with Frank Carroll and Ben Toma
  9. Special tour of Senate Chamber
  10. Load back to Bus by 4:00pm(15 mins to load).
  11. Sun City Grand by 5:15pm
This will give us almost 5 1/2 hours at the Capitol. This is a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes. The sign up spreadsheet can be accessed with the Click Button below. Please remember that there are 4 organizations plus local officials invited to this event so get your reservations and payment in early, as the seating will be limited. All reservations and payments must be received by me prior to August 21st. There will be no refunds or changes after that time. We will have 1-56 passenger bus. The passenger cutoff will be at 56. The cost is dependent on # of people. The Tour will accommodate up to 70 guests. Sign up ASAP for a guaranteed seat. Please follow the instructions below as they will help you in filling out the spreadsheet.

 
Here are the choices for you to pick as your lunch. The price includes Sandwich, Choice of 1- Chips(C), Macaroni Salad(M), Potato Salad(P), Cole Slaw(CS), Bottled Water, Tax and Tip:

  2. Turkey & Provolone
  3. Roast Beef & Provolone
  4. Ham, Salami, Capocollo & Provolone
  5. Veggie(Lettuce, Tomato, Swiss & Provolone Cheese, Sprouts, Cucumber, Avocado)
  6. Gluten Free(All ingredients in bowl/no bread)
